Seven ETSU football players earned 2000 All-Southern Conference honors as selected by the league’s nine coaches.
Rahim El Amin and Denario Smalls were both named to the first team defense.
Corey Bolden, Ocasio Coefield, Victor Hooks, Cecil Moore and Todd Wells earned second team honors.
Ranked fourth in the conferecne, El Amin led the Buc defense with 113 tackles. He had nine tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks.
Smalls made 41 tackles and had four interceptions.
Wells set the SoCon single-season record for total offense (2,957 yds.) and the ETSU record for passing yardage in a season (2,624 yds.)
Moore led the Bucs in receptions (58), receiving yards (883) and receiving yards/game (80.3).
Bolden was second on the team in tackles (102) and tackles for loss (10).
Coefield had 82 tackles and one fumble recovery.
ETSU ended their fourth winning season in five years (6-5).
