One of the year’s most collaborative events, the ninth annual Winter Cruise, is coming to the Culp Center on Feb. 7.
Using the theme “Welcome to the Jungle,” this year’s event will include two or three special events that are to be announced, and a cornucopia of booths hosted by different offices, departments and student organizations.
The booths will be scattered throughout the Culp Center. Vendors will attend and Aramark will distribute free treats.
“Winter Cruise is mainly just a fun event that we host every year, that really gives different organizations around campus a chance to inform students about their groups or to recruit students into them,” said Michele Goodwin, a member of University Productions and one of the event’s coordinators.
All student organizations are invited to have a booth during Winter Cruise. Organizations can handout information about their groups and do
fundraisers.
“Winter Cruise is good because it will give students more of an idea about different organizations, so that they will get more involved,” said Katie Craig, president of University Productions.
