ETSU Pride Week 2007 kicked of this week with Preview 2007 last weekend and will be continueing the rest of the week as a way to welcome students back to campus.
Student organizations on campus had the chance last Friday to meet and greet new students on campus during the Sidewalk Sale in the CPA last Friday.
“It was a good opportunity just to talk to people about who you are,” said Christy Tatum from the Well. “We are trying to find anyone that is interested and get the those people to do something with that interest,” said Nathan Silver from the College Democrats club.
ETSU Pride held it’s 10th birthday party on the Borchuck Plaza complete with a cupcake-eating contest Monday. And a welcome back picnic was provided for students on Tuesday offering free food, games and live music.
The Gray Fossil Site held their dedication this morning in Gray, and events continue this weekend with the ETSU Pride Bluegrass on Broad Street at 7 p.m. sponsored by TK’s Big Dogs in downtown Kingsport.
