ETSU’s Mary B. Martin School of the Arts and Reece Museum has announced a call for entries for “Mountain Visions 2011,” a regional juried exhibition planned for April 5-May 6.The competition is open to artists 18 years of age and older residing in the states of Tennessee, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia.
Entries may include painting, drawing, sculpture, fibers, printmaking, photography, ceramics, jewelry, digital, mixed media and other media.
All entries must be submitted via .jpeg file on a CD along with an entry form, artist statement, and entry fees.
Artists may submit three entries for $30 and subsequent entries for $5 each to a total of six entries. The postmark entry date is Feb. 2.
The juror for the competition is Greg Shelnutt, director of visual arts at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem.
