All Week beginning Oct. 2: Homecoming Events 

Homecoming week begins on Oct. 2 and all across campus there will be various events to get students and faculty into the homecoming spirit. From door decorations, volleyball games and live concerts, there’s plenty to do this week for every student. Highlights include: 

College Spirit Day- On Tuesday, Oct. 3, be sure to show your school spirit by dressing up in the Buccaneer colors, blue and gold, to cover campus.  

Parade Pep Rally and Food Truck Rally– Celebrate homecoming on Friday, Oct. 6 by watching the parade that begins at Founder’s Park and continues to the ETSU Campus Quad, followed by a pep rally and food truck rally beginning at 6 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.

Don’t forget to vote online for homecoming king and queen. The crowns will be awarded at the homecoming football game.

Oct. 5 – ACMA Pickin’ Porch.  

In Bristol Oct. 5, stop by the Mountain Music Museum to see bands from the ETSU Bluegrass, Old Time and Country Music Studies program perform on the weekly show, “The Pickin’ Porch.” The show is hosted by Rick Dollar and will run from 7 – 9 p.m. 

Oct. 8-12 – “Playhouse Creatures” by April DeAngelis. 

For five days only, the ETSU Department of Theatre and Dance will present their first show of the season, “Playhouse Creatures,” by April DeAngelis in the Bud Frank Theatre on the ETSU campus. The show tells the story of some of the first female actresses allowed to perform on the English stage in the 1600s. Performances will take place at 2 p.m. on Oct. 8 and Oct. 9 – 12 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for general admission and $5 for students with ID. This show contains adult language and situations. Tickets can be purchased online through the department website or by calling 423-439-6524.  

Oct. 8 – ETSU Football vs. Robert Morris 

ETSU football team will take on Robert Morris for the Homecoming football game on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
