Take note, ETSU football fanatics — there have been some slight changes made to the Bucs’ most unorthodox spring schedule.
Due to the NCAA granting The Citadel’s waiver request to play 12 regular-season games this year, the Southern Conference has announced scheduling adjustments to five SoCon teams, including the Bucs.
The Bucs’ home games remain unchanged — however, their bye week has moved from March 20 to Feb. 27, during week two of the SoCon spring football schedule.
The Bucs’ road games have been slightly altered — they will still visit Wofford on March 6, but the former bye week now contains an away game against The Citadel on March 20, followed by back-to-back road contests against Virginia Military Institute on April 3 and Mercer on April 10.
ETSU is still scheduled to close the season with a home showdown against Chattanooga at William B. Greene, Jr. Stadium on April 17.
