On Nov. 28, ETSU head coach George Quarles announced offensive coordinator Adam Neugebauer has mutually agreed to part ways with the ETSU football program.

“I met with Adam this morning and we both agreed on this decision,” said Quarles. “I want to thank Adam for his commitment to our program this past season and wish him the best of luck.”

Neugebauer served as the offensive coordinator during the Fall 2022 season under the leadership of Quarles. Prior to his time at ETSU, he was an offensive coordinator for the football team at Slippery Rock University for three years.

This announcement comes after ETSU’s final 3-8 record; the regular season ended with a 56-7 loss against Mississippi State University.

A search to find a replacement will begin immediately.
