On Jan 19, the Southern Conference announced its Fall-Academic Team. In total, there are 411 student-athletes from the SoCon who earned a spot on the team. ETSU led all schools with 57 dedicated student-athletes on the academic all-conference list.

Lastly, students must have successfully completed at least three semesters at their respective institutions.

For the Buccaneers, women’s soccer had 14 players on the list, football and men’s soccer each had 12, volleyball had 10, and both men’s and women’s cross country combined for nine players being named academic all-conference.

Across the SoCon, 31 student-athletes maintained a perfect 4.0 grade-point-average. ETSU had five Bucs make this exclusive list.
