Rihanna made her triumphant return to the stage last week, with her performance at the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show.

The singer’s setlist was stacked with some of her greatest hits, and her discography certainly contains a few of the most iconic songs from the past few decades. Unfortunately, thirteen minutes just wasn’t long enough to include all of RiRi’s amazing music, so here’s a list of a few songs Rihanna wasn’t able to perform last week that you can give a listen to and add to your playlists.

“Kiss It Better”

From her most recent album “ANTI,” “Kiss It Better” is one of Rihanna’s most underrated songs. The track benefits from its synth-rock sound, and the incorporation of the electric guitar on the chorus certainly makes this song stand out on an already spectacular album.

“Lemon” N.E.R.D. & Rihanna

This collaboration with the hip hop and rock band N.E.R.D. is sure to get you motivated and moving. The production is definitely the highlight of this song, with Pharrell Williams delivering yet another excellent sound that compliments Rihanna’s sassy and sour lyrics.

“SOS”

The album opener for “A Girl Like Me” (2006) showcases the peak of Rihanna’s early 2000s pop sound. Inspired by a sample of Soft Cell’s “Tainted Love,” this hit will surely take you back to the days of “Gossip Girl” and low rise jeans.

“Shut Up and Drive”

Speaking of “Gossip Girl,” who could forget one of the most iconic songs in pop culture? “Shut Up and Drive” is a song that definitely needs to be added to your road trip playlist and is perfect for when you need to add some fun to your day of running errands.

“Pon de Replay”

Finally, this list would not be complete without including the ultimate classic, “Pon de Replay.” From the singer’s very first album “Music of the Sun,” this hit set the tone for what to expect from Rihanna’s musical career, and it certainly didn’t disappoint.
