Auntie Ruth’s Doughnuts and Pretzels took to social media to announce their new shop coming to Johnson City later this summer.
They shared it has been a project in the works for a while, and they hope to have a soft opening at the end of May or early June. It will be a donut, pretzel and coffee shop.
“We continue to be blown away by the support that we’ve received there, but we’re excited to start the new venture that’s been brewing for a while,” the social media post read.
Auntie Ruth’s was a staple at the ETSU Farmer’s Market each semester until they could no longer return after opening up a permanent shop in Limestone, Tennessee. Located beside Troyer’s Mountain View Country Market, their permanent shop opened in January 2022.
The family business has been owned and operate by Roman, Ruth and their three daughters for the past 15 years.
“Renovations and more have to be prepared before opening, so we appreciate your patience as we prepare,” the post stated.
More information will be shared about the location in the coming weeks.
Their Limestone location is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, visit auntieruthsdoughnuts.com.
