The 87th Masters Tournament wrapped up play on Sunday, and if you were watching, you may have seen a few familiar names on the scoreboard: Seamus Power and Adrian Meronk.

The two former ETSU golfers earned their invitations to the iconic event following Power’s 2022 Butterfield Bermuda Championship. Meronk earned his invite by way of the Official World Golf Ranking in 2022.

The first day of play would see Power and two-time Masters champion Bubba Watson tee off in the same group together. Power would start strong in his second Masters appearance, but the two double bogeys to close out round one would haunt the former Buc on the scorecard. Power completed round one 1-over-par 73 tied for 39th place.

Power had a solid showing for round two of the Tournament, ending the day at an even-par 72 and advancing beyond the cut, which was set at 3-over-par.

Meronk, making his debut as well as being the first player to represent Poland in the Tournament, finished round one with 1-over-par 73 but would not make the cut following a 4-over-par 76 performance in round two.

Power would remain consistent throughout the third round, ending with 1-over par for the day to bring his overall score to 2-over-par before the final round of play. The Irishman would struggle in the final round with a 5-over-par performance to end his day. Power would end the Tournament with a score of 7-over-par (73, 72, 73, 77).

Power now sits in 10th place in the PGA Tour FedEx Cup rankings and has earned $3.06 million on the Tour thus far.

Spectators were treated to a tight battle at the top of the board between Brooks Koepka, Phil Mickleson and Jon Rahm.

Two poor outings by Koepka in the final two rounds allowed Rahm to take the lead. Mickleson tried to close the gap following an incredible 7-under-par performance in the final round that would see him tied for second place with Koepka. Rahm was able to hold on for his first Masters win and second major championship with a scorecard of 12-under-par (65, 69, 73, 69).
