The Golden Globes kicked off the 2024 award season on Jan. 7, and the red carpet has become the opening statement and runway for many nominees and presenters.

Celebrities embraced early 2010s fashion trends from peplum seen on “Fellow Travelers” star Allison Williams to high-low dresses seen on “Only Murders in the Building” lead Selena Gomez and influencer Dylan Mulvaney.

Bows have been rising in popularity across the public, and many embraced this trend at the Emmys and Golden Globes.

Suki Waterhouse, star of “Daisy Jones & the Six”, debuted her pregnancy on the Emmy’s carpet in red Valentino gown with a giant bow along the waistline.

Her co-star Riley Keough was seen with a classic vintage ponytail tied off with a black bow.

As with all red carpets, red ensembles and majorly blingy pieces were a go-to for many.

Barbie stars Margot Robbie and Dua Lipa both wore curve-hugging, floor-length gowns at the Critics’ Choice Awards from Balmain and Prada respectively.

Mandy Moore and Emily Blunt doubled down on the glamour at the Critics’ Choice Awards with sequined red dresses.

Taylor Swift was shining in a bejeweled, green Gucci gown, which many say is Reputation Taylor’s Version coded.

She was not the only one dressed in green this season. Both Food Network star Padma Lakshmi and actress Jessica Chastain, also in a sparkling Gucci number, were seen in the color at the Emmys.

Netflix stars Jenna Ortega and Ali Wong were hearkening in spring early with bold florals at the Emmys.

Ortega embraced the Tim Burton aesthetic with midi, Victorian style Dior gown, and Wong’s Louis Vuitton gown had a bold blue floral skirt and bedazzled, silver top.

Overall, award season fashion has seen the return of classic vintage styles, spring staples and major glamour moments. It will be interesting to see how the upcoming carpets such as the Grammys and Oscars stack up this year.
