East Tennessee State University’s swim club is looking forward to another successful season. Last season ETSU’s swim club made it all the way to nationals, and they are looking to replicate that same success this upcoming season.

The swim club had their last meet with the Clemson University swim club back in December, right before finals week. The Bucs are very excited for more meets in the near future.

Practices with the swim club are set to resume this semester, toward the end of the month. This semester the swim club will hold practices every Monday and Thursday from 7-8:30 p.m. at the CPA pool.

Nationals are coming up soon and the swim club advises attending every possible meeting to have the best chance of qualifying. The meets offered by the swim club each semester offer so much potential for the swimmers, not only do they get to compete on the national level but they also get to meet people and make connections from different Universities.

Last season ETSU had two members of the swim club compete in nationals. The swimmers of the club are very excited to be back from winter break and are geared up for all of the great possibilities of the 2024 season.

The swim club welcomes anyone attending East Tennessee State University looking to be a more competitive, and well-rounded swimmer! This is a great opportunity for any students looking to be more involved on campus this year, or anyone who is really passionate about swimming.
