Celebrities shone both on and offstage at the 2024 Grammys, which saw historic wins for women in the music industry this year.

Old Hollywood glam was the inspiration for many.

Album of the year winner, Taylor Swift, wore a draped, floor-length white Schiaparelli gown and long, black velvet gloves with layered choker necklaces.

Her companion and fellow nominee Lana Del Rey wore a vintage black lace mid dress with sheer black gloves and bow tied in bouffant hairstyle.

Olivia Rodrigo rounded out the Old Hollywood looks with a fitted Vintage Versace gown covered in embellishments.

Many other stars brought the shine as well.

The show’s opener Dua Lipa walked the carpet in a metallic, ruffled Courreges dress with a plunging neckline and paired with matching metallic heels.

Janelle Monáe was dressed in head-to-toe black sequins, wearing a custom, strapless Giorgio Armani Privé gown.

The Little Mermaid’s Halle Bailey wore a bedazzled, see-through gown with custom Pandora jewelry.

Miley Cyrus partook in the see-through trend in a Custom Maison Margiela dress made mostly of golden safety pins.

Cyrus wore a few revealing numbers throughout the night, with a silver -sequined Bob Mackie dress for her performance of “Flowers” and a brown sequined Gucci dress to accept Record of the Year.

While glitz and glam was the choice for most this year, many partook in wearing sleek, tailored suits.

The members of Boygenius all wore matching Thom Brown white silk tuxedos. They wore matching pink carnations as reference to one of their song lyrics: “I’ll be the boy with the pink carnation.”

Overall, Old Hollywood glamour overtook the red carpet with fitted ensembles, red lipstick, waved hair and stacks of jewelry and sequins everywhere, but a few guests moved heads with their more revealing choices.
