ETSU and Chattanooga initiated a partnership to work together to collect donations for the community prior to the teams’ football game at William B. Greene Jr. Stadium Oct. 5.

Fans can bring donations to the Food City Fan Zone, Lot 21, while bins will also be set up at the stadium entrances. The Chattanooga Athletics Department is also accepting donations this week and will deliver those to ETSU’s campus Saturday.

Athletics recommends the following items for donations:

  • Toiletries
  • Water
  • Non-perishable food items
  • New clothes
  • Cleaning supplies
  • Laundry detergent
  • Heavy duty trash bags
  • N-95 Masks

Saturday’s football game is scheduled to kickoff at 3:30 p.m. To purchase tickets, visit ETSUTickets.com or call 423-439-3878.

Wednesday, Oct. 2, ETSU student athletes and staff were set to deliver donations at sites throughout the area that were collected by the Bucs on Oct. 1.

ETSU will also donate the proceeds to Greene County relief efforts when the Bucs men’s basketball team hosts Tusculum at Freedom Hall Nov. 13.

All single-game ticket sales that day will be donated to Greene County to help those affected by Hurricane Helene.
