With the holidays coming up, many attractions are coming to campus to put students into the holiday spirit. One attraction coming up is the live production of “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” coming to the Martin Center in December!

Sara Allen, director of Sales and Marketing at ETSU, shared that with the addition of this event for the holidays, “[the] whole family can join Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus, and the rest of the Peanuts characters in their journey to uncover the true meaning of Christmas.”

This event will be something that entire families can use to brighten their moods and bring the holiday spirit as well as a way for ETSU to give back to the community by hosting the event.

“‘A Charlie Brown Christmas'” has warmed the hearts of millions of fans since it first aired on television over fifty-five years ago,” she stated.

Entire families know this story and are now able to see it live. This live production “encompasses each of your favorite scenes from the original animated television show, but with more fun, music, and more finding the true Christmas spirit.” The Martin Center is excited to present this story and production to the community and use it as a method for spreading the spirit of the holidays.

“There is no better way for both children and adults to discover the magic of the season,” said Allen.

“A Charlie Brown Christmas,” will be at the Martin Center on December 17. Patrons can purchase tickets at etsumartincenter.org or from the Martin Center Box Office, which can be contacted at (423) 439-2787.
