The Department of Music will present an enchanting evening of piano music featuring guest artist Gergely Kovacs. The recital will take place on Wednesday, November 20, at 7:30 p.m. at the Martin Center of the Arts.
Dr. Kovacs, a distinguished pianist and educator, comes from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, where he earned his soloist master’s degree. Renowned for his artistry and expertise, he has become an influential figure in classical music, captivating audiences with his performances and inspiring young musicians through his teaching.
Kovacs is a faculty member at the Adam Gyorgy Castle Academy, known for fostering exceptional talent in classical music. He regularly conducts masterclasses for beginner pianists in Hungary and around the world, sharing his knowledge and passion for the art form.
