On January 26th, Sunday, the East Tennessee State University campus will be experiencing a showcase of the talent and art present within the Mary B. Martin School of the Arts.

Dr. Frye-Clark, who is running the event, described this occasion as something to “celebrate the talents of ETSU students across the College of the Arts and Sciences.” The showcase allows students to show off their strengths which range from performing music, dancing, and even physical art exhibits for everyone to see. Some of the talents being put on for the event include “tight-rope walking, a performance by the Trumpet Ensemble, live and digital storytelling” and more!

The doors to the Martin Center will open at 1:30 P.M. on Sunday, which will show the audience that enters an “immersive experience in the Tindall Lobby with student art displays, live music, and appetizers” which will act as an opener for the main event. The main show will open at 3:00 P.M. in the ETSU Foundation Grand Hall and set the stage for many of the performances mentioned above.

To find out more about this event, feel free to contact Dr. Steph Frye-Clark for more information at fryesn@etsu.edu. As a creation to show off a “celebration of creativity and community,” this performance is free to the general public, and the department hopes to see as many people as possible there!
