ETSU will broaden its annual Day of Giving into a week-long celebration: Forever ETSU. This event will feature daily events from April 21-27 to engage students, faculty, alumni and the community in supporting the university’s mission.

The initiative, now in its eighth year, shifts from a single day to a full week of activities aimed at fostering pride and connection while raising funds for scholarships, programs and community outreach. Donors may contribute to any ETSU fund during the campaign.

Forever ETSU celebrations will begin Monday, April 21 with Faculty and Staff Day, encouraging campus employee participation and recognition. Tuesday will be the Traditional Day of Giving. It will put a spotlight on many of the donations around campus. Wednesday will feature student-led “thank-note” stations for 4-2-3 Day. Thursday will be Student Day, which will feature a graduation celebration for the class of 2025. On Friday, there will be a Community Celebration.

The Community Celebration will feature a free public festival on the Basler Center lawn from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. with live music by Lucille Klement, food trucks, outdoor games and an outdoor movie screening at 7:30 p.m.

There are at least 18 separate project areas you can donate to. You can donate to scholarship programs and student life projects. You can also donate to individual colleges, for example, the College of Arts and Sciences. Donations to projects such as intercollegiate athletics, the Sherrod Library and the Martin Center of Arts will be accepted.

With over 1,400 donors in 2024, ETSU’s Day of Giving has raised critical funds for scholarships, research and campus initiatives since its 2017 launch.

Donations will continue to be accepted through Sunday, April 27. For details or to donate, visit www.etsu.edu/give.
