Graduates, faculty, family and friends, Commencement is taking place Saturday, Dec. 13, in the Ballad Health Athletic Center. There will be two separate ceremony times for different colleges graduating, the first at 10 a.m. and the second at 2 p.m.

Each ceremony will last approximately two hours, and doors open one hour prior to the ceremony’s start time.

The 10 a.m. ceremony will feature the following colleges: Quillen College of Medicine, Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy, Clemmer College of Education and Human Development, College of Nursing and the College of Arts and Sciences.

At 2 p.m., the College of Public Health, College of Health Sciences and College of Business and Technology will have its ceremony.

Graduates should enter from the parking garage side of the mini dome through the center doors on the ground level. Wear your ETSU cap, gown and comfortable shoes to prevent falling or discomfort on the grass.

Each graduate will have a reserved seat. It is recommended to arrive at least 45 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow time to find parking and get through security.

No ticket is required for guests attending. Guests may enter through both the west and east sides of the mini dome and find their first-come, first-served seats or accessible seating for those with mobility restrictions.

Getting through the metal detectors and security can be much easier if you bring as little as possible to the event. There is a clear bag policy, with a limit of 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches. More information on what is allowed into the venue, safety, disability services, parking and much more can be found at etsu.edu/commencement.
