The ETSU women’s and men’s soccer teams are gearing up for their first games of the regular season. After their efforts last season, the women’s team has tied for second in the Southern Conference preseason poll. This team also shows returns on 80% of its scoring and 88% of its minutes played.

Although the men’s team was picked to finish sixth, the main focus amongst this team has been the addition of Jaime Carrillo, a senior winger from Texas who scored five goals last season and was recognized as All-SoCon Second Team in 2025.

In preparation for the upcoming season, four ETSU students played for the Bristol Rhythm this summer, a semi-professional soccer team that competes in the National Premier Soccer League. These players included Koke Gracia, Noé Delmotte, Louie Salkeld, and Ulysses Hendriks, all of whom were key parts in the team’s national runner-up campaign. Delmotte was even awarded the NPSL Golden Glove while competing.
