The Lady Bucs’ golf team shot a final-round 314 to finish seventh last Tuesday at the Lady Pirate Fall Intercollegiate hosted by East Carolina University at the Greenville Country Club in N.C.
The Lady Bucs shot a 331 first round, a second round of 309, the second best of the round and shot a 314 in the final round.
ETSU was led by freshman Alysa Few, who shot a final-round 79 to finish in 20th place at 22-over par (83-73-79=235).
Just one stroke behind Few was Lady Bucs’ sophomore Kristin Fletcher, who finished in 21st place at 23-over par (80-79-77=236). Directly behind Fletcher was senior Catalina Zuluaga, finishing in a tie for 22nd at 24-over par (82-75-80=237).
Lady Bucs’ senior Mimmie Dymling finished in a tie for 44th at 33-over par (86-82-78=246). The final ETSU finisher was senior Susan McKinney.
McKinney finished in a tie for 79th at 53-over par (91-90-85=266).
As a team, ETSU finished 102 strokes over par, 46 strokes behind team champions and host East Carolina University (309-300-299=908).
The Lady Bucs will travel to Cullowhee, N.C., on Oct. 22-23 for the Great Smokies Intercollegiate hosted by Western Carolina University.
