“Agnes of God” is the story of three women who are forced to face harsh realities within their lives while searching for truth. Dr. Martha Livingston, a court-appointed psychiatrist, is asked to determine the sanity of Sister Agnes, a young nun accused of murdering her own baby. While Mother Superior Miriam Ruth is determined to protect Agnes, Livingston’s work causes all three women to re-examine the meaning of faith and commitment to love.
This play is not recommended for children.
Admission is free, but donations will be accepted for the Children’s Advocacy Center and Safe Passage Inc. to benefit domestic violence and sexual assault programs. During a reception held following the performance, representatives of both agencies will be on hand to supply information
