Standout Sophomore Oscar Posada, the Buc’s Division 1 tennis player, is coming off of a victorious weekend when he made it to the semi-finals at the Southern Intercollegiates in Athens, Ga.
During last weekend’s tournament, Posada pulled off an upset over John Isner. Isner from Georgia was seeded eighth in the tournament. Posada recently received an Intercollegiates Tennis Association’s ranking of 105, making him one of the best in the country.
The completion will begin with 192 athletes playing singles matches, and 96 doubles teams playing in the qualifying tournaments Friday through Sunday.
