Leading the team in shots, assists, and points has led Erin Ashton to be voted by league coaches on to the 2004 All- Southern Conference second team, for a second consecutive time in her ETSU soccer career.
Ashton had to compete with girls from the District IV states including Alabama, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and Tennessee for a spot on this list.
Ashton did all this in 14 games that included 13 starts while missing only three games due to injuries. She was also involved with the offensive success during the season by recording two goals and contributing in assists (4), points (8), and also shots (32).
Ashton is a pre-med student and maintains good grades year round. She is majoring in biology. All that led her to being voted on to the 2004 CoSIDA Academic All District IV Third team., also for a second consecutive year.
As a student Ashton has been named to many honorable lists including the Dean’s list and both ETSU’s and SoCon’s Honor Roll in her two previous years here.
She is now beginning her third year as a member of the honor society, Alpha Lambda Delta.
