Dear Editor,
Recently an article appeared in your paper about the America’s Promise convention.
In this article there was absolutely no mention of Alpha Xi Delta’s participation in the event.
Alpha Xi Delta, Jenny Ray, our vice president of programming, in particular, and our faculty sponsor Debbie White were the ones who organized the campaign.
Your staff interviewed Debbie White, but nothing was mentioned in your article about AXiD.
A lot of Jenny’s time, as well as some of our other sisters’, went into planning the event and they deserve recognition.
My sisters worked extremely hard preparing for America’s Promise and an acknowledgement of their efforts would have been appreciated.
