It’s getting close to Christmas and there are some people we need to remember this holiday season!
We still have many soldiers overseas, in the Middle East and otherwise, who will not be home with their families and friends over the holiday season.
The ETSU community has the opportunity to make cards for our troops again this season to send out for the holidays.
If you would like to help make cards, please do so. You may join students at Main Meal from 5-7 p.m. each day during Dead Week or you may make them on your own. Once you’ve made them, they can be bundled and sent to Campus Box 13161 or contact Jenn O’Connell to arrange for them to be picked up. She can called at 433-2158 or by e-mail at zjko3@imail.etsu.edu.
Also, if anyone knows of a soldier you would like to send cards to, pass their address along to O’Connell
These cards can provide the soldiers with some holiday cheer.
Cards should be completed no later than Dec. 10. For more information contact O’Connell.
