The Carroll Reece Museum, a division of the Center for Appalachian Studies and Services (CASS) at East Tennessee State University, is operating under new hours.
The museum is open to the public Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m.-7 p.m.
The extended Thursday hours (open until 7 p.m.) are in effect while ETSU’s academic classes are in session. The museum is now closed Saturday and Sunday.
In addition, three special parking spaces at the east end of the Reece Museum are newly designated for patrons of the museum and CASS, a state Center of Excellence. Patrons should visit the Public Safety building at ETSU’s main entrance on University Parkway to receive a temporary permit to park in these spaces.
Vehicles parked in these spaces without a permit will be cited for a reserved space violation.
For exhibit information or for special assistance for those with disabilities, call the Reece Museum at 439-4392.
