East Tennessee State University is opening its doors to video gamers all night.
Fragocity, the largest all night gaming party in the Tri-Cities, is being held Friday, March 17, 2006 at the Niswonger Digital Media Center will feature four prize tournaments in Counter-Strike (PC), Unreal Tournament 2004 (PC), Jak X Racing (PS2), and Halo 2 (XBOX).
This will be the fifth event in the past two years.
Gaming consoles will be available, but attendees will need to bring their own computers. Monitors, keyboards, and mice are on hand. The event is sponsored by leading computer equipment companies, the ETSU Bookstore, and BAWLS Guarana, maker of the most popular caffeine energy drink among gamers.
Fragocity is open to the public and all proceeds go to the ETSU Student ACM SIGGRAPH Chapter, also know as the EDGE Club. Admission is $10 and concessions are offered.
