It is November again and we all know what that means, no not Turkey Day, it is time for ETSU’s semi-annual nerd fest Fragocity. Each semester for the past four years ETSU’s EDGE club has played host to Johnson City’s premiere LAN party.
Participants will engage in battle against some of the areas best gamers for prizes. Tournaments will be set up for Call of Duty 3, Halo 2, Dance Dance Revolution, Unreal Tournament 2004, Day of Defeat, World of Warcraft, the newly released Guitar Hero 2 and many others.
To participate in this nerdtastic extravaganza, gamers will need to bring $10 in the form of cash (bring extra cash to trade for nourishment), a television or monitor and a computer, console or other gaming device.
If you are under the age of 18 you will need to bring a permission slip from your guardian to play.
Fragocity 4.0 will be taking place at the ETSU Digital Media Center at 6 p.m. Nov. 10 and will end at 7 a.m. Nov. 11.
