Three members of the ETSU women’s soccer team were named all-conference selections and Jordan Monty (Dallas, Texas) was named Freshman of the Year Wednesday at the A-Sun awards banquet.
Monty was also named to the all-conference freshman team and the all-conference second team. She leads the Bucs with eight goals on the season and is currently tied for third in the conference. Monty was also named the A-Sun offensive player of the week earlier in the season.
Senior Emily Fulcher (New Bern, N.C.) was also named to the all-conference second team. Fulcher, an exercise science major, has scored five goals on the season and is currently tied for second on the ETSU all-time career goals list.
Kim Jones (Springfield, Va.) was named to the all-freshmen team after starting in 17 matches this year. Jones has been a huge presence in the defense and has man-marked some of the conferences top scoring threats and only one scored a goal against her.
