Next week the short interior ramp from near the CELL office door up to the CAVE will be closed while the contractors install ductwork. While the restrooms in this hallway will still be accessible from the CAVE they will not be from the rest of the lower level.? The CAVE itself will still be accessible from the CAVE Patio and from the stairwell from the second level Atrium Food Court.? This ramp closure will be for only about 10 days, hopefully less.? Appropriate signs will be posted. New ceiling and new floor tile is beginning to be installed on the third floor. As this is completed, the contractor will move to second floor and then the first floor. Obviously, when they need to install the ceiling tile and floor tile that lie directly in front of a doorway, that doorway will need to be shut down for awhile – not all day, just long enough for them to do their work. In nearly all cases there is an alternate entrance or exit that can be used.? Please be patient as this process continues.

The public elevator re-fit is delayed a little. They say it will be a few more days. Once it is backed up, it will again have to go off line later in the semester while fire alarm work is being completed on it.

The handrails are finally being installed on the Cave Patio. Once they are completed, we will be able to open up almost the entire patio for student use.
