Now I realize that there are many important issues on campus right now: Renovating the Culp, complaining about a five-minute walk from a parking spot, and the ever-popular lack of a football team argument, but what about safety? In case anyone missed it, there was an assault on campus on Monday night.
My question is how can ETSU spend so much money on renovations and forget to replace some light bulbs? Not just some light bulbs, I counted seven lights along my five-minute walk to my car Tuesday night.
Lights won’t necessarily make the campus safer, but what could it hurt? Do I need to go to the Dollar Store to buy some light bulbs?
Many of us can’t avoid walking alone at night to our cars after class, so I would like to encourage ETSU to shed some light on our situation.
Thanks,
