This Saturday the Library Association will do what they have done since the fall of 1998 – sell books. The annual Library Association book sale raises money for the library’s services, programs and books. The sale will take place from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday in the Sherrod Library.
The books in the sale range from 10 cents to $10, depending on the title. Most fall between 50 cents and $2. These books are donations to the library, and the selections vary including everything from textbooks to fiction and nonfiction.
“The only thing we don’t have, which most library sales do have is general mass market paperbacks,” said associate professor Jean Flanigan.
The event is open for everyone to come out and take home a few (or a few dozen) books. For more information call Flanigan at 439-5620.
