Dear Editor:
So, once again that crazy Christian was back at ETSU. If anyone stopped to listen to him they would not believe half of what he was saying and walk away. But because we are nosy Americans we stop to listen, then get mad because he tells us we are all going to hell for various things and then we start shouting back at him saying stuff like, “You’re going with me then” and “Shut Up!” and many other things, only feeding his fire that makes him wake up every morning to yell at some more innocent college students.
Now I’m not saying that he is the sad part (at least he’s not afraid to tell people what he believes – even if it is way different than how most ‘Christians’ view their religion). The thing that makes me sad is that there was no representation from any of ETSU’s campus ministries that I saw (except for Earle Chute from Campus Crusade for Christ). I even called and texted some of the ‘head people’ from other ministries asking them to come down and preach the real message. No one came to tell the students the real message that this imposter was bending to make him look better.
How are we as college students suppose to fight for what we believe when the leaders of these ministries won’t come out and do what God has blessed them with doing? I really hope that this guy comes back again soon so that ETSU’s campus ministries can come and teach all of us what it truly means to be a Christian.
