Dear Editor:
I read Elliot Cennano’s commentary and attack upon presidential candidate Ron Paul in the Oct. 25 issue of the East Tennessean and the favorable press “penned” by patriots such as Andrew Stearn and Ryan Belk.
Although clever and witty, I suggest Cennano gain “critical knowledge” before opining. He should research the subject before speaking out against Ron Paul and the so-called “conspiracy” theories of the sovereignty destroying treaties of NAFTA, CAFTA, GATT and the soon to be ratified LOST (Law of the Sea Treaty). He should begin his research by visiting the Web sites of The Heritage Foundation; the American Policy Center and the John Birch Society.
You can only debate the issues if you have knowledge backed up by in-depth research.
After you have a clearer understanding of the issues and danger we face as a free nation then; please visit Ron Paul at www.ronpaullibrary.com.
If you do the research you will find a candidate who is squarely on the side of the constitution and the American people; not the power elite who have corrupted the average politician with large sums of money.
Cennano, this is your country and you are entitled to your opinion.
But for the sake of your future, do the research before you attack good people. Your future and the future of this great nation is at stake.
