Dr. Paul Kamolnick, an associate professor in ETSU’s Department of Sociology and Anthropology, has been selected for the Academic Fellows Program of the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies
In June, Kamolnick will travel to Israel for a seminar involving scholars and military, intelligence, and diplomatic professionals. FDD is a non-profit organization based in Washington, D.C.
Founded just days after the events of 9/11, the group’s stated mission is “promoting pluralism, defending democratic values and fighting the ideologies that drive terrorism.”
