Thanks for checking back for part two of our deluxe dinner delight. “Robust Garlic Ravioli” is the featured entrée of this meal.
It’s simple and affordable, and takes less than 10 minutes to make. Although it is tasty, you may not want to hang out with anyone who hasn’t eaten this dish due to the reeking garlic breath you will have.
Remember the parmesan and mozzarella cheese from the dip from part one of this deluxe dinner delight? Well whip it back out because you’re going to use it again.
What you will need:
1 bag of frozen cheese ravioli
3 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
4-5 Tbsp minced garlic
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
Parmesan cheese to taste
What to do:
Bring water to boil and add frozen ravioli. Ravioli will cook quickly, usually under five minutes.
When they start to float you will know they are thoroughly cooked. Drain pasta and set aside for the time being.
In a skillet heat olive oil over medium heat and add garlic to oil. Allow garlic to slightly brown, but be careful because if it burns you will have to start over.
After garlic is browned place ravioli in skillet and cook. Be sure the ravioli gets coated in olive oil and garlic. Add salt and pepper and stir.
Transfer ravioli to a serving bowl and stir in mozzarella cheese.
The heat of the ravioli will melt the cheese. Once served your guests may add as much or as little parmesan cheese as they wish!
Additional tips:
Fresh basil or flat leaf parsley is a great way to top off this dish if you have a couple extra bucks in your wallet.
When it comes to the minced garlic, you may take the time to buy a fresh head of garlic and mince 4-5 cloves for freshness or if you are on a tight schedule. Pre-minced garlic in water is available and just as tasty!
