ETSU women’s soccer head coach Heather Henson has announced the dates of the fourth annual ‘Buccaneer Soccer School for Girls’.
The Boys and Girls Day Camp for ages 5-12 will be held from June 2 to June 5 from 9 a.m. to noon. This camp will focus on the basic skills of soccer, , such as dribbling, passing, shooting, heading and receiving.
The Elite and Team Camp for girls age 13-18 will be held from July 13 to July 17 from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Residential and commuter options are available for the Elite and Team camp.
The Elite Camp is designed for players with competitive playing experience.
Campers will be trained by qualified staff to improve their technical skills and knowledge of soccer through small and full-sided matches.
“We are extremely excited about hosting our first residential camp this year,” Henson said. “The day camps have been very successful in the past and we are looking forward to hosting the Elite Camp in addition to our established Day Camp. We feel like we have a quality staff of other college coaches and top club coaches, as well as great facilities that will help make Buccaneer Soccer School for Girls a great experience for each player.
