It is so crazy how much things have changed over time. I was doing some research and realized how big of an issue abortion really is.
Before the Roe vs. Wade court case, abortion was illegal in the United States. Women were going in alleys and getting butchered.
So many women were injuring themselves physically and mentally, and even dying, something had to be done. The Roe vs. Wade case looked at abortion as an invasion of privacy.
There have been many court cases against the Roe case since and different things have been changed around, but even today it is still the woman’s choice. This is how it should be. A woman has the right to protect her own health and decide what the best decision is for herself and the baby. It is hard to even imagine that at one time women did not even have rights.
