The Super Bowl has come and gone, the winner having been decided and now those who aren’t as sports-oriented can return to their regularly scheduled programs.
Monday has what could be the most interesting program of the season.
For the first time since ABC had a 3D line-up on TGIFriday, NBC is offering a 3D episode of their hit series “Chuck” at 8 p.m.
Glasses could be found at local retailers and used for a commercial during the Super Bowl, but more importantly for this episode. Entitled, “Chuck versus the Third Dimension,” former “Lost” actor Dominic Monaghan guest stars as a rock star accused of murder who must rely on Chuck and the others to prove his innocence.
Also on NBC is the return of “Heroes” at 9 p.m.
After having a bumpy first half of season three, fans are hoping that the next volume, entitled “Fugitives” can get the show back on track.
With the return of season one writer Bryan Fuller, the next volume begins with the episode “A Clear and Present Danger,” which finds the heroes trying to lead normal lives months after the events of “Villains.”
But their attempt at normalcy is cut short with a plot to remove the heroes from society is revealed.
Tuesday once more is owned by “American Idol” at 8 p.m. on FOX.
While at 9 p.m., Scrubs continues it run on ABC, after being canceled on NBC last season.
Wednesday continues Fox’s domination of the 8 o’clock time slot with another episode of “American Idol.” While ABC, once again, brings an exciting episode of “Lost.” After last week’s “Oceanic 6” free episode, this week’s episode, “The Little Prince” brings viewers back to them as Kate discovers someone knows the true identity of Aaron’s parents, while those still on the island face even more peril as their time jumps become more dangerous.
Thursday finds one of the last episodes of “Ugly Betty” airing at 8 p.m.
ABC Recently announced that they would be removing the show from its normal timeslot in hopes of promoting another series, having “Ugly Betty” return after this new series had run its course, placing “Ugly Betty’s” return around June of this year.
At 9 p.m. on the CW is Supernatural.
This week’s episode entitled “Sex and Violence,” finds the Winchesters battling a siren responsible for recent murders in a small town.
Soon, though, they find themselves under the siren’s spell and battling each other to the death.
