Depending on the intensity and length of the bike trail, you have the option to choose which one is best for you.
However, if you’re more interested in hiking, the Tri-Cities has multiple different options for you, as well. You can hike either to a lookout or even a waterfall. Rock Creek Falls Hiking Trail is a 1.5 mile hiking trail that leads to a beautiful waterfall. Within this trail, there are numerous creek crossings, so plan on getting your feet wet. Make sure to take extra caution when hiking and enjoy nature.
On the other hand, if you’re more interested in inside or even calm outdoor activities, the Tri-Cities has many fun options. Activities such as trampoline parks, skating rinks, Christmas lights displays, and movie theaters are all great activities to participate in.
For example, Shadrack Christmas Wonderland is a family friendly Christmas lights display hosted for the whole community to attend. The event is in Johnson City and is selling tickets from Nov. 24, 2021, to Jan. 2, 2022. This is an event you won’t want to miss out on. It’s a great family Christmas activity and is perfect for winter break.
