On Aug. 27, thousands of fans crowded Freedom Hall Civic Center for country music star Lee Brice on his “Label Me Proud Tour,” alongside Jackson Dean and Michael Ray.

Opening for Brice was Jackson Dean, a newcomer to the country scene with his 2022 studio album “Greenbroke.” Amping the crowd with the strum of his guitar, he played an electrifying live version of Fearless, among several others. Dean closed his set with fan favorites “Don’t Come Lookin” and “Red Light.”

Next in the lineup was Michael Ray, best known for his songs “Whiskey And Rain,” “Her World or Mine,” and “Think a Little Less.” Opening with his hit single “Holy Water,” Ray brought the audience to their feet in excitement. Ray closed the show with a brief cover of The Killers’ “Mr. Brightside,” thanking the crowd.

Excited fans packed the general admission area in anticipation for Lee Brice.

“I’m most excited for Lee Brice’s older stuff, like his ‘Love Like Crazy’ album,” said Marlie, an avid supporter.

Shelby, a devoted fan, says this is her first of three shows on Brice’s 2022 tour.

“I’m just so happy I have the opportunity to be here tonight,” she said.

Walking out to his commercial in collaboration with Yuengling, Lee Brice brought booming energy and enthusiasm to the audience with a live rendition of “More Beer” off his 2020 album “Hey World.” He performed several other songs off of this best-loved album, including “Memory I Don’t Mess With,” “Soul” and “If You.”

With an array of thousands of flashlights swaying together, Brice sang an emotional live version of his song “Boy,” a tribute to his sons. He closed his set with “One Of Them Girls,” a fan favorite among the concertgoers.
