Local Johnson City businesses are hosting different Valentine’s Day events and specials this month to help celebrate the upcoming holiday. 

The coffee shop Blue’s Brew Co. is encouraging customers to celebrate Valentine’s Day with a self-made bouquet. The company is partnering with Honey Bee Wildflowers to offer the opportunity to build your own mason jar bouquet. The event will take place on Feb. 11 from 5-7 pm and tickets will cost $36. Customers will be able to pick out and build their own bouquets and will also receive a glass of prosecco.

Stella & Cooper Co. is celebrating by hosting its first community event of the year. The company is hosting a “Valentine’s Day Bash” in downtown Johnson City on Feb. 11-12 from 10 am-3 pm. The event will provide soul food, caramel apples, chocolate strawberries, local crafters and welding and leatherwork demonstrations. The “Valentine’s Day Bash” offers the perfect opportunity to celebrate Valentine’s Day and explore local arts. 

Meg’s Macs is offering a special treat for the holiday. The business will be offering a special Valentine’s Day macaron menu. The menu consists of chocolate chip cookie dough, strawberry, salted caramel, Nutella, raspberry white chocolate and cookies and cream. The limited-time menu will be available through Feb. 17. One dozen of these macarons will be $25. 

Burg’r & Barrel is also expanding its menu for Valentine’s Day. The popular local bar and grill will be offering special Valentine’s Day-themed mixed drinks. The menu includes love potion number 9, a berry sweet kiss, first date kinda nervous and the rose club. The exclusive drinks will be available through Feb. 14.
