The streak is over for the women’s soccer team as they fall to the Samford Bulldogs 2-0 at Summer-Taylor Stadium.

The Bucs were on a four game winning streak just short of their all time win streak of five games before the Bulldogs came to Johnson City. With this loss the Bucs fall to 1-13-3 all time against the Bulldogs.

The game was mostly a defensive game with both sides going scoreless in the first half. During the second half Mamie Cameron and Becca Koenig both scored a goal each for the Bulldogs.

The Bucs (7-4-1) hit the road for their next contest on Oct. 11 against VMI. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. in Lexington, Virginia.
