Dear Editor:
Enough of Ron Paul? Here is why Ron Paul is pulling so much controversy: He is the only man in Washington who has pointed out that the “Emperor isn’t wearing any clothes” (to borrow from an old fable).
Democrats and Republicans have been making money on our political cockfight for decades while we, the voters, are the battered and bruised roosters, attacking each other instead of the true problem: our raving, money-hungry owners. Imagine a nation of states united under a common cause of freedom where each state chooses how liberal or conservative it wants to be.
Can you imagine a country where we all would have a state in which to live according to our own principles? This was our founders intent in establishing the states. Have you ever wonder why the United States wasn’t founded as one big state? Enough of Ron Paul? Maybe for our parents and geezers who’ve handed us this broken fractured mess but, not for me. I’m stepping out of the ring. You’re welcome to join me.
