Dear Editor:
Well, President “Blew it” Bush and his Republican Party have certainly ruined the United States. President “Blew it” Bush, with his 24 percent job approval rating, says he will once again veto expanding children’s health insurance of the working poor for 6 million kids, who live in one of the richest countries in the world and lack health insurance, but he sees no evil in giving $10 billion in government subsidies to the oil companies who are already raking in record profits.
Democrats believe, as well as most Americans, that children deserve health insurance. Getting health insuance for the children of the poor working class helps them, helps America and helps you. Yet, the Republicans see no evil in vetoing health care for kids, investing in social programs to help the poor and the middle class/students. Yet now, once again, “Blew it Bush” is going to try to keep his veto, but he will fail!
In conclusion, G. Michael Thomas, does not know the facts, the U.S. Census Bureau reports, “poverty up, homelessness up” and everything else. The disastrous Republican record does not lie, the U.S. Census Bureau does not lie, and the Republican Party does, and they have brought America to it’s knees! We owe a deficit of $10 trillion dollars and counting, our image is wrecked in the Middle East and around the world, while the Republicans ran the war in Iraq, and Afghanistan. Our health care system is broke, and more Americans, not less, are living in poverty, the U.S. Census Bureau reports.
One last fact too, “True patriotism hates injustice in its own land, more than anywhere else.” – Clarence Darrow
So now you see and now you know, why the Republicans hear no evil, do no evil, and see no evil.
