Students, faculty and staff will meet this Saturday, March 15, to build a new section of the Appalachian National Scenic Trail near Iron Mountain Gap, outside the town of Unicoi, and about 20 miles from campus.
The public is also invited to join in the project.
Participants will meet Saturday at 9 a.m. in the parking lot at the southeast corner of the University Parkway and South Roan Street intersection and then return following their day’s work at 2:30 p.m.
The venture is sponsored by the ETSU Environmental Studies Program, in concert with the Tennessee Eastman Hiking and Canoeing Club.
