Buctainment has over ten events on the books for the spring 2024 semester.
With events ranging from karaoke to a game show, Buctainment is sure to bring the entertainment to campus this spring semester.
One of the bigger events students can expect this semester is the “Free Money Game Show.” Run by Neon Entertainment, “Free Money Game Show” is a multiple round game lasting anywhere from 30 to 70 minutes. The games are hosted by a professional comedian and can include trivia, matching games and so much more. With each round, there is a chance for multiple students to win the included cash prize of $200. Students can look forward to this event in the Culp Center Auditorium on Feb. 2, starting at 7 p.m.
Students can also expect goal setting exercises such as vision boards and a night to kick-back with a “Five Nights at Freddy’s” movie night.
“We usually have a pretty good turnout with the vision boards, but I think our biggest hope is that students have fun while setting their goals for the upcoming semester,” said Natalie Starnes, budgeting chair for Buctainment.
Buctainment’s biggest event of the year is the annual student organization showcase. The showcase features several student organizations for students to talk to and get more information about. Each organization is encouraged to center their table’s theme around their favorite board game and to offer free prizes and activities accordingly. This event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Culp Ballrooms A and B on Feb. 7. Be sure not to miss Buctainment’s “Candy Land” themed table with a pucker powder dispenser free of charge to those that attend.
These events and so much more are right around the corner, so be sure to tune in to Buctainment’s Instagram @etsubuctainment to not miss the fun.
