ETSU’s Buctainment hosted Valentine’s Day Bingo on Tuesday, Feb. 13.

Valentine’s Bingo was a free event open to all students from 7 to 7:30 p.m. Students were able to have fun with the goal of winning prizes, including Squishmallows, using Valentine’s themed Bingo cards, and pink, red, and white markers.

Caroline Koluch, an ETSU sophomore, spoke on her experience playing bingo with Buctainment. “Valentine’s Bingo was such a simple time. It was nice to step away from school for a little bit and just relax with friends,” she said.

The different rounds consisted of a few regular rounds of Bingo. Then the night was finished with a few rounds of Blackout Bingo, where the goal of the game was to cover every number on the Bingo card.

“I was so close to winning a few rounds of Bingo, even the Blackout rounds. There was surprisingly a rush that came with knowing I was so close to winning a round,” Koluch said.

Throughout this past week, Buctainment hosted events to provide students with an opportunity to get into the Valentine’s spirit. In addition to Valentine’s Bingo, Buctainment also hosted Valentine Plants, Painting, and Card Making in the Culp Cave on Wednesday, Feb. 14.

Buctainment is a student program dedicated to creating experiences that help students find a sense of community even when away from home and their families. All events by Buctainment are free  to make this goal of theirs possible.

If you are interested in joining Buctainment, you can come to their member meetings on Mondays from 5 to 6 p.m. in the Culp Student Center, Carrier Center, Room 210.
